Our Team
We offer therapy with a small team of clinicians, each with their own approach and areas of focus. All of whom work in a culturally sensitive way.
You’re very welcome to book directly with a clinician.
Where it would be helpful to be guided, a brief call with the Clinical Director may be offered to help match you with the most appropriate support. This includes considering whether working with a trainee therapist would be a good fit.
Trainee therapists are available through this guided process to ensure the right level of support.
Clinical Team
Dr Sarah Shillingford
Clinical Director
If you’ve been struggling with something that feels difficult to move through, you may be looking for a space to begin understanding what’s going on and find a way forward.
As an experienced Consultant Psychologist, Sarah offers a thoughtful and supportive space to work through a wide range of difficulties, including all kinds of trauma, anxiety, low mood, or if you’re going through a period of loss. Her approach is tailored to you, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and CBT, depending on what feels most helpful.
In sessions, you can expect to feel heard, understood and supported, while working at a pace that feels right for you. The focus is on helping you make sense of your experiences and move towards the life you want in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
Sarah’s primary focus is to create a space where you don’t have to leave your culture, worldview or any part of who you are at the door.
Daniel Shillingford
Psychotherapist in training
Daniel offers a calm and supportive space for you if you’ve been feeling low, anxious or overwhelmed, or if you’re going through a period of change or loss. This might include experiences of anxiety, low mood, grief, or feeling stuck in a situation that feels difficult to move through.
His approach is thoughtful and grounded, creating space for you to talk openly and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.
In sessions, you can expect to feel heard, understood and supported, without judgement. The work often focuses on helping you gain clarity, understand patterns, and find ways to move forward that feel manageable and realistic. This can be particularly helpful if you’re used to looking after others or holding things in, and don’t often have space to focus on yourself.
He is currently completing his clinical training and works within a supervised framework as part of the wider team. All enquiries are guided to ensure the right fit
Support Team
Rhoda and Vivian support the day-to-day running of the practice and are often the first point of contact when you get in touch. They work together to respond to enquiries, help with bookings, and ensure the process feels as smooth and straightforward as possible.
