Are you finding things feel too much? Perhaps you’re used to looking after everyone else and feel like you need space for yourself. You might have had traumatic experiences that make it difficult to build relationships with others. You may also be struggling with work colleagues or others not having an understanding of how important your cultural heritage is to you. The journey towards your goals will likely have its challenges but you have taken a really important step in seeking support.

If we embark on a journey together, you can expect to be supported and heard without judgement. You are most likely to make the progress you want when you have the space to consider what your main road blocks are and when you have the space to take a step back from things to consider what you want.

What you can expect in your first session

You will have space to speak about what has caused you to seek therapy and the kind of support you are looking for. I will then make some suggestions about what I think will be most helpful for you, of course your own view of things will be central to this.
